When should I buy this kit?
Ideally, before your puppy comes home. You want the brush, shampoo, and collar ready from day one. Cavoodle coats start developing quickly, and getting into a brushing routine early makes everything easier down the track. That said, if your pup is already home and you’re realising you need the right tools — it’s never too late to start fresh.
Will this brush work on my Cavoodle’s coat type?
Yes. Cavoodles typically have either a fleece coat (soft, wavy) or a wool coat (tighter curls). Our Fleece-Safe Slicker Brush is specifically chosen because it works beautifully on both coat types without pulling or damaging the hair. It’s the same brush we use on the 450+ Cavoodles we’ve groomed in our salon. The steel comb is your mat-detection tool — run it through after brushing and it’ll catch anything the brush missed.
How is this different from pet store products?
Pet stores sell products designed for all dogs — from Great Danes to Chihuahuas. Your Cavoodle’s fleece or wool coat has specific needs. Generic shampoos can dry out their curls. What age puppy is this for?
The kit is designed for puppies from 8 weeks old onwards. That’s typically when Cavoodle puppies come home from the breeder. The shampoo is puppy-gentle, the brush is soft enough for young coats, and the care guide covers everything from those first weeks right through to their adult coat transition around 6-12 months. You’ll use these products for the first year and beyond.
