How often should I get my dog groomed? +
It depends on the breed and coat type. Most dogs benefit from professional grooming every 4-8 weeks. Double-coated breeds may need more frequent deshedding treatments, while short-coated breeds can go longer between grooms. We’re happy to recommend a schedule for your pup!
My dog is nervous about grooming. Can you help? +
Absolutely! We specialise in working with anxious pups. Our calm, patient approach and stress-free environment helps even the most nervous dogs relax. We never rush, take plenty of breaks, and use lots of positive reinforcement. Many nervous dogs become our regular, happy customers!
Do I need to bring anything to the appointment? +
Just bring your pup! We provide everything needed for a complete groom. If your dog has specific skin conditions or you prefer a particular shampoo, feel free to bring it along. Please ensure your dog is up to date on vaccinations.
How long does a grooming session take? +
A basic bath takes around 30-45 minutes. Full grooms typically take 1.5-2.5 hours depending on size, coat condition, and style. We’ll give you an estimated pickup time when you drop off your pup, and send you updates throughout the session.
Can I stay and watch my dog being groomed? +
We find that dogs often behave better without their owners present (they stop looking for escape routes!). However, we send photo updates during the groom so you can see how they’re going. If you have concerns about leaving your pup, please chat with us – we’re always happy to accommodate special needs.
